Hi everyone!
So remember in that last post where I told you I would upload my file tab cut file and tell you my whipped up idea how to organize my coupons?
Well, here it is!
First let’s talk about the file tabs.
Right click and download this file image. This is what we will be using for tutorial purposes… or at least until someone let’s me know how to upload cut files, cause I can’t figure it out. haha
Then you just cut as usual with your cutting machine, I have a Silhouette, so that’s what I used.
Right, so, like I said, cut out your image and then walk away for two minutes to give your newborn a pacifier and then come back to your now crumbled tabs… or is that just how it goes down in my house?
I used a full-sized label sheet so that I could cut them and stick right away without the hassle of glue or tape.
Then I dove into my massive card stock inventory and pulled out what-ever stray sheets I had laying around. I didn’t particularly care if it matched or looked pretty… we’re just going for function, not form… but they are still kinda cute.
Cut the sheets 8 x 12, then fold in half making them 8 x 6. Fold the file tab in half, sticking to the back half your newly made file folder.
Ta-Da! That’s it. Easy-peasy. Now organize into what-ever categories your little heart desires. I then tossed them into a larger file and placed in my file cabinet.
And can I just for a second brag about my first couponing trip since my loooong hiatus? Momma saved $162! That’s right, I spent $140.00 and saved $162.
But no worries this blog isn’t going to become an extreme couponers bragging grounds. I am waaaay to damn busy to ever get that hardcore… plus I only buy what we will actually use and eat.

Cool post! I too have tried a variety of methods and only recently tried Using baseball card sleeves (clear ones) in a large three ring notebook. I like this method. However it is not nearly as pretty as yours :) Have a blessed week.

I actually have a binder full of baseball card inserts, that way was just too much for me. I have a pretty good memory and just like to toss them in and dig them out later. But everyone needs what works for them! :)
Well done. This is sooo organized! We’d love it if you would show this off in our linky party at http://www.finecraftguild.com !
